Margaret (Peggy) Landwehr has called seven states her home. She received an undergraduate degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and graduated from St. Louis University School of Law.
Peggy was a Supreme Court Clerk and worked at the Attorney General’s Office for eighteen years. She has also worked for the Missouri Bar, the Personnel Advisory Board, and the Department of Social Services and Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). She retired from DESE in 2021.
Peggy has been involved in numerous volunteer organizations such as the Historic City of Jefferson, Samaritan Center Legal Care Office, Helias High School Foundation, and appleJAC Apple Computer Club.
Peggy married a native, John Landwehr, and they have two children, Rebecca and David. Peggy’s husband, John, was on the City of Jefferson City Council and later was Mayor of the City of Jefferson. Peggy and John support numerous community activities and charities.
